Organization

I have started organizing the crawl space in my home now. I have so much stuff down there that you can barely move around and trying to find something is almost impossible. I have already made a huge dent in the work and need to keep at it. Matt will be home for the Valentine's weekend and I told him that all I want for Valentine's Day is for him to build me shelves in the crawl space. So now I need to get everything organized down there so he can build my shelves. Once the shelves are there we can move everything from the garage into there. Then I can finally start putting my studio together. I can hardly wait. I'm so excited to have a studio. It is keeping me very motivated to get that crawl space done.

I have my first self employment workshop tomorrow morning. I'm really looking forward to this. I feel like I need to get this business going and I think these workshops I'll be taking are going to really help with the business aspect of it all.

Holiday's are almost over!

Today is the last day of our Christmas holidays. Kaitlyn goes back to school tomorrow and everyone will get back into a regular routine. Matt was home for the holidays too which was really nice since we haven't had him around much this year. He left yesterday and drove up to Prince George where he will go to school for the next 10 weeks. Good luck honey I know you will do great.

I can't believe how much snow we have gotten over the past 2 weeks. It has been so pretty out but I sure hate to drive in it. The kids have loved it and we took them sledding a couple days ago. We all had so much fun there and I got some cute shots of the kids coming down the hill. I will share some of them once I have them ready.

Here are some pictures from a few of the sessions I did in 2008.

Happy New Year!

My new years resolution this year is to start posting to my blog regularly. I would like to say I'm going to do it every day but that just probably won't happen so my resolution will be to post at least once a week and I will try to do more.

This year will officially mark the start of Jennifer Cameron Photography. I will be busily working on getting my studio set up so I can start using it as soon as possible. We are converting our garage into a studio for me. Right now though it is full of stuff that needs to be cleared out and then I need to lay flooring down and fix drywall and paint the walls. I am really excited to get that all done and to have a studio.

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and all the best in 2009. I hope that this is a great year for everyone. I will leave you now with a few photos of my family at Christmas.
